What is Injectable Sermorelin Acetate?

Sermorelin Acetate is a Functional Analog of a Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone or GH-RH. These hormones are catalysts for the production of HGH by the body. The pituitary produces Growth Hormone; Sermorelin Acetate sends a message to the Pituitary Gland that Human Growth Hormone should be released.

Sermorelin was initially used to treat children with Idiopathic Short Stature and Human Growth Hormone Deficiency. The FDA approves it for children significantly shorter than they should be and lacks the Human Growth Hormone production to grow at a satisfactory rate. Adults with HGH Deficiency can also benefit from Sermorelin Acetate Injections.

Sermorelin and HGH Production

In the last generation of Hormone Research, the Anti-Aging and health-benefiting effects of Sermorelin Acetate for adults are slowly being revealed. There is mounting clinical evidence that Sermorelin is highly beneficial to men and women who produce insufficient levels of Human Growth Hormone.

We here at the Conscious Evolution Institute of Hormone Replacement Therapy encourage you to read the following information to learn more about the benefits of Sermorelin Acetate and the risks associated with Human Growth Hormone Deficiency.

Sermorelin and HGH Decline

Levels of Human Growth Hormone decline as we age. It's common knowledge. HGH Injections and Sermorelin Acetate Shots can be used to treat Hormone Deficiency effectively. Many people find Sermorelin a more affordable and superior approach to replenishing deficient hormones. Our bodies produce the most HGH during adolescence, as the body grows rapidly.

Around 20, a healthy adult produces approximately 500 micrograms of Growth Hormone daily. By age 80, the average production of HGH drops to around 60 micrograms or less. Levels are generally considered low if they are below 200 micrograms.

Hormone production drops very slowly, of course, but by the mid-thirties or early forties, the aging process begins to accelerate due to waning hormone levels.

Sermorelin Therapy allows the human body to retain a more youthful appearance further into the aging process while also helping keep the body more robust and healthy.

What are the Benefits of Adult Sermorelin Acetate Injection Therapy for Men and Women?

Sermorelin works by encouraging the production of healthy levels of Human Growth Hormone. The dose you receive will depend upon your specific needs as a patient. HGH is highly beneficial in restoring a healthy Muscle/Fat ratio. It reduces fat from areas of the body such as the thighs and midsection while encouraging the growth and development of new muscle fibers.

Also, Human Growth Hormone enhances the ability of the body to recover from injury and maintain healthy biological processes. HGH is the rejuvenation hormone. It is responsible for the acceleration of cell reproduction in the various organs in the body, which helps them run at a higher efficiency while also recovering from malfunction and injury faster.

In addition, Sermorelin Acetate can help strengthen the immune system, helping the body fight off illnesses that range from the common cold to infections received from cuts and scrapes.

Sermorelin Injections and Sleep

Sermorelin Therapy also improves the quality of sleep. Since Sermorelin Acetate Injections are administered nightly, it helps maintain the circadian rhythm. The body produces Human Growth Hormone in its most significant amounts as we sleep.

This also coincides with the period of time in which our body repairs itself and prepares itself for a new day. Human Growth Hormone is a necessary component for waking up fully rested and ready to seize the day.

Sermorelin and Human Bones

Sermorelin also encourages the retention of calcium which leads to stronger bones and teeth that are less likely to fracture or break. Sermorelin Acetate's positive effects on bone density and structure can cause it to be life-saving for older patients who want to avoid the dangers and pitfalls of osteoporosis and brittle bones. Women often fracture their hip bones later in life due to falling due to the condition.

Sermorelin Rejuvenative Therapy

Sermorelin Acetate Therapy is a fantastic therapy because it maintains the health of the body's organs. It allows men and women to age more gracefully by working to prevent the frailness that so many associates with the aging process.

In addition to helping men and women feel better and stronger as they grow older, it also helps them look better! The rejuvenating and muscle-strengthening capacities of therapy also apply to the skin. The muscles underneath the skin's surface become stronger, tightening the skin and reducing wrinkles and deep lines on the face and body.

This occurs in conjunction with the skin cells being able to hold more water and develop enhanced elasticity. Sermorelin is excellent for lessening wrinkles. Increased HGH Production also benefits the skin by reinforcing the collagen which holds the skin in place.

How Do Sermorelin Injections Encourage and Facilitate Weight Loss?

Sermorelin is highly effective at helping patients lose weight. Sermorelin effectively induces weight loss because Human Growth Hormone stimulates the production of Insulin-like Growth Factor 1 (IGF-1).

Higher levels of IGF-1 lead to a higher metabolism, making it easier to lose weight more quickly when one controls calories.

Higher metabolism levels also give the body more energy and endurance for aerobic exercise. The increased metabolism eliminates fat by causing the body to burn fat without activity while giving the patient the energy and motivation needed to stick with a healthy exercise regimen.

How is Injectable Sermorelin Supplementation Administered?

Sermorelin is intended for Subcutaneous Injection into muscle tissue in the stomach, glutes, or arm. Generally, Sermorelin is delivered to the patient in a lyophilized powder that must be reconstituted into a sodium chloride-saline solution.

After the Sermorelin Acetate has dissolved into the solution, it is ready for injection. The injections are typically administered every evening for maximum effectiveness.

Missing a single dose is not a treatment-threatening issue, but it is recommended to take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is nearly time for the following evening's dose, it is not recommended to take two doses quickly.

Simply skip the previous day's dose in this situation. The best circumstances for taking a Sermorelin Injection are on an empty stomach and going to bed on an empty stomach.

What are the Symptoms of Growth Hormone Deficiency?

  • High levels of body fat around the waist

  • Depression and high anxiety

  • Increased levels of unhealthy LDL cholesterol

  • Decreased levels of healthy HDL cholesterol

  • Decreased libido and interest in sex

  • Exhaustion and fatigue lead to an inability to make the most of life

  • Decreased muscle mass; lack of strength

  • Reduced stamina and endurance make it challenging to maintain workouts for an entire session.

  • Increased risk of osteoporosis and bone weakness, which may result in fractures as a person ages

How is Human Growth Hormone Deficiency Diagnosed?

One would imagine that the easiest way to test for Human Growth Hormone Deficiency would be to conduct a blood test to measure levels of HGH in the blood, but this is a highly inaccurate means of measuring the body's ability to release Growth Hormone. This is because HGH is distributed to the body and unloaded from the bloodstream rapidly.

There are other more valuable markers of Human Growth Hormone Production, however. IGF-1 produced by the liver is highly correlated with the secretion of HGH or the presence of Growth Hormone in the body via outside sources.

By measuring levels of IGF-1 in the bloodstream, our doctors at the Conscious Evolution Institute can easily infer the level of Human Growth Hormone that your body naturally produces. If this level is too low, our doctors will most likely encourage you to undergo treatment such as Sermorelin Acetate Therapy or HGH Injection Therapy to restore healthy levels of HGH.

Sermorelin Therapy vs. Human Growth Hormone Therapy

So if all of these medical issues result from Human Growth Hormone Deficiency, why take Sermorelin Acetate Injections? One advantage of Sermorelin Therapy compared to Human Growth Hormone Therapies such as Humatrope and Somotropin is that Sermorelin does not suppress endogenous hormone production in the same way because it is a precursor hormone.

The body uses the Sermorelin that it needs to manufacture a healthy amount of Human Growth Hormone, but this does not overwhelm the system or cause it to produce excessive HGH.

Because Sermorelin cannot encourage the body to produce excess levels of Human Growth Hormone because of its location on the Pituitary-IGF-1 axis, the risk of overdose, side effects, and the potential for abuse is significantly lower than with HGH. The biological pathway of Sermorelin prevents a few problems arising from Human Growth Hormone Replacement Therapy.

Sermorelin Acetate Therapy does not have the same effect on blood sugar levels as HGH Replacement Therapy, eliminating the risk of High Blood Sugar and Low Blood Sugar (Hyperglycemia & Hypoglycemia) as a result of therapy.

Human Growth Hormone Overdose and Abuse have also been associated with the risk of sore joints or the development or advancement of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Sermorelin Acetate Therapy significantly reduces the risk of joint disorders because the therapy does not lead to excess levels of Growth Hormone present in the human body.

This is another reason why Sermorelin Therapy may be a better option for older patients who suffer from a Growth Hormone Deficiency.

Human Growth Hormone Therapy may be the preferred choice for those who want faster results. Still, most people are satisfied with the effectiveness of Sermorelin Injections, especially with the much-reduced risk of altering the body's ability to manufacture Human Growth Hormone on its own.

Some doctors may recommend taking Sermorelin Acetate injections in addition to Human Growth Hormone under some circumstances to maximize the effectiveness of HGH therapy while preserving the body's ability to produce the hormone naturally.

What Are the Side Effects of Sermorelin?

The side-effect most reported by those taking Sermorelin is pain and swelling around the injection area. A study found that less than one percent of those who took Sermorelin Injections found this pain and swelling troubling enough to end therapy.

If the pain and swelling are mild, you may wish to talk to our hormone doctors about the condition, but there is no need to discontinue therapy unless problems arise. Contact our physicians immediately if you have any issues and stop the treatment if you have any concerns.

More major side effects are occasionally reported, but less than one percent of those that undergo Sermorelin Acetate therapy report the following symptoms:

  • Flushed skin

  • Headache

  • Difficulty Swallowing

  • Hyperactivity

  • Drowsiness

  • Nausea

  • Strange taste in the mouth

If any of the above symptoms are experienced, talk to a physician when possible, but it is not necessary to discontinue treatment.

If the below symptoms occur, discontinue use and contact your physician immediately:

  • Tightness of the chest

  • Fast heart rate

  • Fainting or severe lightheadedness

  • Allergic reactions (rash, hives, etc.) around the injection site

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Swelling of the face or mouth

Though almost all of these side effects are very rare, it is essential to recognize the signs of a poor reaction.

Who Should not take Sermorelin?

If you have a prescription or are currently taking corticosteroids such as Prednisone, it may interact poorly with Sermorelin Acetate. Also, if you are currently taking thyroid medicines such as Levothyroxine, you should let your doctor know, as these medications can also result in unwanted drug interactions.

Those with cancer should avoid using any medication or hormone therapy that encourages the production of Human Growth Hormone, as Human Growth Hormone can stimulate the production of cancer cells. Human Growth Hormone effectively encourages the growth of all cells in the body, even cancerous cells.

Pregnant women should not take Sermorelin or any Human Growth Hormone Therapy unless it is recommended and approved by a doctor. In animal studies featuring doses of Sermorelin, which were significantly higher than those typically used for women, it was shown that Sermorelin could induce minor physical birth defects in the fetus.

There has not been sufficient research on Sermorelin's effect on the womb. However, the risks of modest usage of Sermorelin Acetate for the fetus appear relatively low.

Women that are nursing should avoid Sermorelin unless approved by their physician. It is unclear whether this hormone can pass to the child through breast milk.
